Precautions for hydraulic press operation during pressure testing

May 21st at 10:52am

Hydraulic press uses a special type of hydraulic oil as the working medium and a hydraulic pump as the power source. Hydraulic oil enters the oil cylinder/piston through the hydraulic pipeline through the force of the pump, and then there are several cylinders/pistons that cooperate with each other. The seals at different positions are different, but they all play a sealing role to prevent hydraulic oil leakage. Converting hydraulic energy into mechanical energy is a transmission method that utilizes hydraulic power to transmit power and control. The hydraulic device consists of a hydraulic pump, hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic control valve, and hydraulic auxiliary components. So what should we pay attention to when measuring pressure?

Precautions for pressure testing of four column hydraulic press:

1. Firstly, it is necessary to understand the principle and corresponding structural performance of the machine, and conduct a voltage withstand test according to the instructions for use.

2. During the pressure test, the system valve should be adjusted to the selected pressure test value.

3. After connecting the power, start the motor and observe if the direction of rotation is correct.

4. During the debugging process, special attention should be paid to the temperature changes of the hydraulic oil. The suitable temperature for general hydraulic systems is 40-50 ℃. When working at this temperature, the efficiency of hydraulic components is high, and the oil's oxidation resistance is in a state. If the working temperature exceeds 80 ℃, the oil will deteriorate prematurely (the deterioration rate of the oil will increase by twice for every 10 ℃ increase), and it will also cause a decrease in viscosity, poor lubrication performance, easy oil film breakage, and easy burning of hydraulic components. Therefore, the working temperature of hydraulic oil should not exceed 70-80 ℃. When this temperature is exceeded, the machine should be shut down for cooling or forced cooling measures should be taken.
